The Daytona Freeride concept started by inviting friends to come to Daytona to ride the local beach break. After doing a few small rides with 30-50 people things grew fast and got bigger until it finally became an actual sponsored charity event in 2006. Since then is has seen great success in attendance with over 500 riders and an overall growth with video spots in multiple sports DVD's, internet and magazine coverage around the world. Last year the Daytona Freeride raised over $13,000 for local charities. For more information, visit www.DaytonaFreeride.com.
